Nahal Gostar Royan (NGR), established in 2008, is one of the first and leading Iranian knowledge-based agricultural companies and has experiences like the superior producer of years 2013, 14, 15 and 16, the selected researcher of Iran in realization of knowledge-based economy and has the proud of receiving the prize of Iran superior entrepreneur from Iran president in Resistance Economics and Rural Development Congress, 2017.
According to the existing facilities such as equipped plant tissue culture laboratory and stock plant collection as well as available efficient technical and scientific staffs, NGR has the potential of fast producing of standard and certified seedlings which have the features of world horticultural industry including fruit trees vegetative rootstocks such as GN, GF, Tetra, Pyrodwarf, OHF, Gisela, etc.
NGR is a distributor of different inputs such as seed, fertilizer and chemicals with an annual turnover about 2.800.000 euro. With our distribution facility we serve more than 3800 farmers or customers from different areas of Iran and provide them with culture consulting services.
NGR annual production capacity is 70 million seedlings and 2 million transplants and our plan for 2019 is producing over 100 million seedlings and 4 million transplants.

Iran has four seasons, the temperature in winter is 20 – 30 ̊ C in south, while it is about -10 – 30 ̊ C in west. Due to the difference in temperature and rainfall, demand in Iran varies in different seasons.
Seed demand is very huge in Iran and some brands like Seminis and Syngenta have devoted a large share of the market to themselves and have been able to attain the farmer’s trust.
This requires a 1- to 3-year plan that samples of different varieties of seeds are cultivated experimentally (as pilot) in different regions of Iran according to the specified whether and soil by their representatives and the results are analyzed with regard to the productivity of growth and production and in result, the best varieties of seeds are selected from hundreds of grown-seeds species based on the best returns in different parts of the country due to the weather conditions.
This plan requires the cooperation of the seed company with our company for 1-3 years to find the best results for obtaining a large share of the market.
